Penis cancer usually appears on the penile skin. It can look like a redness, irritation, rash, lump or a sore on the penis that doesn’t heal. Patient might notice bleeding or a bad smell coming from the lesion. In patients with prepuce, the growth of penile cancer in this area might change the appearance of prepuce that can become too tight to pull back. Other signs of penile cancer may include pain, discharge of secretions, and bleeding. Hematuria (blood in the urine) or urethrorrhagia can be signs of locally advanced disease. Signs of advanced penis cancer include swollen lymph node in the groin, fatigue, weight loss, bone pain, and abdominal pain.
